Plain-English terms for using the Coupon Snap app and website.
Acceptance of terms
By using the Coupon Snap app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Coupon Snap.
What Coupon Snap does
Coupon Snap is a personal organiser for genuine supermarket coupons and vouchers you have already received. It lets you photograph a coupon, save the detected supermarket, expiry date, offer details and barcode information, and find the coupon again before it expires.
Coupon Snap does not create, generate, alter, validate, issue or guarantee coupons. Users are responsible for ensuring they comply with the terms printed on each coupon and any retailer-specific rules.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the coupons you save and how you use them. This includes checking expiry dates, minimum spends, product requirements and any other conditions printed on the coupon before attempting to redeem it.
Genuine coupon use only
Coupon Snap is intended only for organising genuine coupons that were issued to you. You must not use the app to duplicate, share, resell or otherwise misuse coupons, or to attempt to redeem a coupon more times than its terms allow.
No coupon generation or misuse
The app does not provide any facility to create coupons, modify barcode values, or bypass retailer restrictions, and you must not attempt to use it for those purposes. We may withdraw access to the app where we reasonably believe it is being misused.
Retailer acceptance may vary
Each retailer decides whether it accepts a digital copy of a coupon. Some coupons may require the original paper version, a linked loyalty card, or specific terms to be met. Keep the paper coupon until it has been successfully redeemed. See our retailer acceptance page for more detail.
No guarantee of savings
Coupon Snap helps you organise offers you have received; it does not promise that any coupon will be accepted or that you will save a particular amount. Scanned details such as expiry dates and barcode numbers may occasionally be misread, so check them against the original coupon.
App availability
Coupon Snap is currently in testing. Features may change, be withdrawn or be unavailable from time to time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app or this website.
Intellectual property
The Coupon Snap name, ticket mark, app design and website content belong to the operators of Coupon Snap. Coupons you photograph remain the property of their issuers. Supermarket names mentioned on this site are the trade marks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the kinds of coupons the app can organise.
Coupon Snap is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any supermarket or retailer.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coupon Snap is provided “as is” and we are not liable for losses arising from a coupon not being accepted, an expired or misread coupon, or loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
